About Yankee Stadium Seating Chart 2017

The Yankee Stadium is the home ballpark for the New York Yankees located in The Bronx New York. First to open on April 02, 2009 with the Yankees hosting a work-out day in front of the fans in Bronx community. The new Yankee Stadium was in replacement for the previous Yankee stadium built on 1923 but its original design was kept.

Keeping the design of the original stadium, its exteriors feature the building’s name V-cut with gold leaf lettered above each gate. The exterior is made from 11,000 pieces of Indian limestone, granite and pre-cast concrete.  The interior had been embellished with hundreds of photographs revealing the history of the Yankees.
The new stadium features a wide array of amenities containing 63% more spaces, wider concourses and open slight lines on concourses. The building itself had enough fiber-optic cable wiring making it “future proof”.  More than 1,100 HD video monitors are installed within the stadium and houses approximately $10 million worth of baseball merchandise in the ballpark.

Getting to Yankee Stadium
By Subway – the subway stop is located on East 61 Street and River Avenue.  The No.4 train (East Side) and B and D (West Side) stops at 161st Street/Yankee Stadium
By train – Take the MTA Metro-North Railroad’s Yankees – E. 153rd Street Station situated at Hudson Line will take you to the stadium easily.
By bus – There are several New York City transit bus lines that provide service to Yankee Stadium. The Bx6 and Bx13 buses stop at 161st Street and River Avenue.

  • Yankees Field Seats are the best non-premium seats of the stadium situated on a prime position near the field on the first level of the ballpark
  • Yankees Main Seats are the premium spots surrounding home plate200 level occupied by the Delta Sky360 Suites.
  • Yankees Terrace Seats located on the 300 level of the ballpark and positioned from the edge the infield towards the corner of the stadium
  • Yankees Grandstand Seats situated on the fourth level above the stadium wrapping around the majority of the venue high above the field and split into infield and outfield locations.
  • Yankees Bleachers are the cheapest ticket sold, located in both left-center and right-center field.
